forever, for always, and no matter what....

So I know this is only my second post, (yes I'm a horrible blogger), but i decided that it's about time I write about the people who mean the most to me...and that's my wonderful family. I love my family so much and I have no clue what I would do without them...literally. They are always there for me and support me in everything I do. Especially my mom! She's such an amazing woman and I hope to be just like her when I'm older! :) I also plan on marrying someone who honors their priesthood, is a hard worker, and loves his family; the way my dad does! Who could ask for better parents?! :) Speaking of my family...I'm so grateful for the knowledge that we will be together forever!! What a blessing that is in my life! :)
Anywho... my mom has been wanting us to get new family photos for months now...which is understandable considering the fact that we've got 2 new family members, and maybe a third on the way! :) So about two weeks ago my family went and had a little photo shoot done. Here's how a few of them turned out...enjoy! :]
P.s. Thanks to Kortney Olds for taking these amazing pictures! Love ya!

Oh and yes....yes you are seeing an extra young man in there...his name is Adam Stephen and he belongs to Whitney! Haha :)

The "better side" of the women in our family ;)

I love Brayden pointing to the temple in this one...

My siblings, sister-in-law, and my favorite little nephew :)

It's crazy how much we've all grown up....I love my brothers and sisters! :)
Brayden with his favorite Aunt (me), and his other aunts and uncle.... :)

A happy family is but an earlier heaven.

There's a first time for everything....

Well hello there all you fellow bloggers! Let me start out being very blunt by saying that 1) I am horrible at writing, so if anything is misspelled or misplaced.....oh well :) and 2) My life is not the most exciting one out there, so let's just say my blog is going to be a "read at your own risk" kinda blog. To start out I should probably tell a little bit about myself...My name is Shayli Ann Spendlove, I'm a twin, I am 19 years old and I am currently attending my second to last semester at Dixie State College. I just received my Phlebotomy Certificate and I plan on graduating with my Associates of Science in May 2012. For almost a year now I have been hoping/wishing/praying that i could finally get my dream job as an MA (Medical Assistant) at Callahan Clinic. Well folks...that day has come! Yours truly got a call today asking if I would come in next week to plan my work schedule! :) So as a tribute to finally getting this wonderful job, I decided to stop procrastinating and start this blog already! Hopefully I will be good at writing frequently and who knows?! maybe as time progresses I might actually get better at this. But until then, have fun trying to get through each post and hopefully you'll find yourself enjoying it! :)

Below are pictures of how I "applied" to work at the doctors office.... :)

My Aunt Vera was very nice and let me draw my dad's blood at his last checkup.

Even though I felt as if all eyes were on me...I struck blood on my first stick! :)

Dr. Doug noticed how interested I was while watching Ryan do my dad's (minor) surgery that he handed me a pair of gloves and told me to assist! What a day!! :)
